This procedure helps remove hard wax and debri from the ear canal. A hollow candle is inserted through a hole in a plate specially designed to collect wax, and then gently inserted into the ear and placed into the external ear canal. The candle is lit at the opposite end and burns creating a vacuum like suction. There is no discomfort and procedure takes about 30 min. (for both ears).
